A CALL TO ACTION:

AN OPEN LETTER TO 94.7 THE WAVE:
As a very faithful listener of the Wave ever since it’s beginnings, I am very saddened and disturbed to see that a very negative change is taking place on this station. As the “powers to be” have been have been killing Smooth Jazz radios stations across the U.S., I see the imminent death of our beloved WAVE coming soon. Shame on your new program director Jhani Kaye. You are taking the greatest Smooth Jazz radio station in the world that was once unique and classy and turning it into something mundane and unrecognizable. For what? Better ratings? You will lose more folks than you will gain. It is truly heartbreaking, as the WAVE was the leader and the best example of what a great Smooth Jazz radio station should be. You have sold yourself out. As Executive Director of the Smooth Jazz Society of the Inland Northwest, I will let every contact and organization know what you are doing to the once greatest Smooth Jazz Station in the world. Your website even sucks compared to what it was even 6 mos. ago. The music is now as bland as the rest of the AC stations. If the WAVE has to sold out, Smooth Jazz as we know it is coming to an end unless the people speak up and fight for our passion!
PLEASE CONTACT THE WAVE AND HELP THE FIGHT TO SAVE SMOOTH JAZZ! DON'T SIT BACK AND CONTRIBUTE TO THE DEATH OF YOUR MUSIC! www.947waveradio.com WATCH VIDEO BELOW!
